Project | "Sweet Home Chicago"

Chicago is the city that I call home. It lies along the sourthern shore of Lake Michigan, and is home to over 2.7 million residents. I created this poster of Chicago's near north, south and west neighborhoods using geospatial data from cityofchicago.org. I also recreated the Chicago Transit Authority rail map using City of Chicago geospatial data. The CTA "L" (for "elevated") rail system serves the Chicago and its nearest suburbs. The "L" was operational in 1892 making it the third oldest rail system after elevated lines in Boston and New York City. For more information about the CTA trains click here.
